KUCE is established in the year 1956 which is located at 10km from kottagudem in Khammam district.Earlier it was called as Kottagudem School of mines(KSM).At that time it was affiliated to Osmania University and then in the year 1994 it was changed to University college of Engineering (Kakatiya University). The campus of the college is about 490 acres of land equipped with hostels,Library,Enginnering Block and MCA/MBA block.
